Does my mattress warranty cover “mattress Sagging”

Our mattress warranties cover excessive Mattress sagging, although we won’t cover sagging brought on gradually over several years. All mattresses experience sagging over time, and this is considered normal wear and tear.

What’s Not Covered

  1. Our mattress guarantee will not cover anything that is not considered to be a physical flaw or defect. This includes:
  2. Damage caused by the mattress owner: The mattress guarantee will not cover accidental tears to the mattress or damage caused by pets or mishandling, excessive bending.
  3. Stains and discolouration: You cannot make a claim if you spill red wine on your mattress or cause any other marks or stains.
  4. Dissatisfaction: A mattress warranty will not apply if you feel uncomfortable sleeping on your mattress or decide you don’t like it when there is no physical fault.
  5. Normal wear and tear: Normal wear and tear is expected and will not be covered by our guarantee. This includes minor sagging and an uneven surface after frequent use.

Do’s & Don’ts

Please Don’t

  1. Removing the mattress tag: Some of our mattress tags provides proof of purchase. so, removing it will often void your warranty immediately.
  2. Failing to rotate/turn your mattress if possible: Sagging will appear more quickly if you don’t rotate or turn the mattress every three to six months.
  3. Damaging your mattress with liquids: Most Liquids damage mattress materials and those with irremovable stains cannot be returned to us for hygiene reasons.
  4. Failing to provide the correct support for your mattress: Mattresses need specific foundations to carry their weight and reduce sagging. For instance, some mattresses require a platform base whereas others can be placed on adjustable bases.
  5. Selling the mattress: A mattress warranty will not extend to a new owner. This means that the guarantee will usually become void if the mattress is sold or given to someone else.

Please Do

  1. Use a mattress protector: A mattress protector is the easiest way to protect your mattress from stains and discolouration. They can also provide an extra layer of comfort and help to keep you cooler or warmer at night.
  2. Clean stains immediately: Don’t ignore mattress stains – the quicker you act the easier they are to remove!
  3. Rotate the mattress regularly: You need to rotate or flip your mattress every three to six months to ensure equal wear and minimise sagging. However, not all mattresses can due to shape.
  4. Use the correct foundation: Different mattresses require different foundations so make sure you use the correct one for your mattress type. Common mattress supports include box springs, platform beds, and adjustable bases.
  5. Avoid jumping on the mattress: If you have children, stop them from jumping on the bed as this can cause coils and springs to break.
